Vicky Anderson Business Services is based at Beech Hill Farm. We are based in a beautiful part of the world, one which we care passionately about. Sustainability and looking after the environment at Beech Hill Farm is one of our key priorities.
Where possible we try to reuse items. The use crushed brick and stone instead of concrete is one step we have recently taken. In the farmhouse we have installed solar heating.
LED lighting was introduced wherever we can and use heating efficiently often scheduling heating in the office and training room.
On the farm we use muck mulchers in the septic tank to hopefully provide a more natural reduction in waste.
Quote: “When agricultural operations are sustainably managed, they can preserve and restore critical habitats, help protect watersheds, and improve soil health and water quality.” https://www.worldwildlife.org/

Sustainability and Looking after the Environment
Grassland
Our grasslands are managed with no inputs regeneratively for many years using a small mob of sheep which has helped to increase the species rich grassland across the farm including an amount of wildflowers, clover and rye grass into our grassland.
The fields are used for training of many of our courses including ATVs, pesticide application and Brushcutter/strimmer. Full details of courses are available on our sister website here.
